Etsy has no Turkish edition of its Help Center and Turkish is not one of Etsy's site languages, so most Etsy help in Turkish comes from outside Etsy: seller groups, Turkish video lessons and the support teams of tools that work in Turkish. For anything that touches your account, identity checks, payments or a policy decision, Etsy Support is the only place with the answer, and those questions go through Etsy's English help pages and its own support channel.
This guide is for sellers starting on Etsy from Türkiye who find English-only resources hard going. When you look for Etsy help in Turkish, the real skill is sending each question to the right place: an account problem will not be solved in a Facebook group, and a mockup question is not Etsy Support's job. Knowing which question belongs where shortens the road to an answer. For the usual early pitfalls, read common mistakes new Etsy sellers from Türkiye make.
Which languages Etsy's own resources come in
According to Etsy, the full site is currently available in Dutch, English (India, UK and US), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish (Etsy Help). Turkish is not on the list. The Help Center's language options are similar: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Hindi and Japanese, with no Turkish (Etsy Help Center locales).
That means reading Etsy's rules in English, but it does not have to slow you down. Your browser's translation feature can show the help pages in Turkish. Always check fees, limits and dates against the original English text, though, because machine translation can blur what a number covers. Etsy's announcements for sellers are published on the announcements board of Etsy's community site.
Where to get answers in Turkish
Seller groups
Facebook, Telegram and WhatsApp groups run by Turkish sellers are good for experience questions: which category someone picked, how a shipping company worked out, what they did while waiting for a first sale. Hearing how others got through the same stage is worth a lot when you are new.
Two rules apply. First, check any fee, limit or rule shared in a group against Etsy's own page. Etsy updates its rules from time to time: since the September 2026 update, a listing can have three different variation types, and older explanations that say two are out of date (Etsy's 2026 updates). Second, never share your password, two-factor codes or shop access with anyone. Etsy requires two-factor authentication as a security measure (Etsy Help), and those codes should stay with you.
Video lessons
You can find Etsy walkthroughs in Turkish on YouTube. Check the date before you watch, because Etsy's screens and rules change and an old video can show a step that no longer applies. Our list of free ways to learn selling on Etsy covers more options. The Alomations Classroom is one of them, and we describe it below.
Support teams of the tools you use
The support team of each tool you use for mockups, listings, printing or shipping is the right place for questions about that tool. If a tool offers support in Turkish, you can ask about everything it does in Turkish. No outside tool can speak for Etsy, though, or change a decision Etsy made about your account.
Questions only Etsy Support can solve
Some issues depend on account details only Etsy can see. No group and no tool can solve them for you:
Identity verification. During shop setup, Etsy asks for a photo of your government ID and a clear selfie. The ID must not be expired and must match the name on the bank account you added to get paid (Etsy Help). The full setup is in our guide on how to open an Etsy shop from Türkiye.
Etsy Payments and deposits. Türkiye is eligible for Etsy Payments. Because PayPal does not operate in Türkiye, sellers located there cannot accept PayPal (Etsy Help). Only Etsy can look into a payment or deposit problem on your account.
Removed listings and policy violations. Some removals can be appealed from the Policy violations page (Etsy's 2026 updates).
Shop language. Only Etsy Support can change an open shop's default language, and only after you have translated your shop information and every listing into it (Etsy Help).
Reviews. Etsy Support cannot remove a review at a seller's request. Etsy removes a review only if it breaks Etsy's policies (Etsy Help). Knowing that limit saves a pointless exchange.
Tax, company formation and invoicing are outside this guide, so for those, check Etsy's help pages and talk to a qualified accountant.
Which question goes where
| Type of question | Where to ask first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Listing fields, fees and limits | Etsy Help Center (English) | It is where the rule comes from |
| Identity checks, payment account, deposits | Etsy Support | Only Etsy can see your account |
| Removed listing, suspended shop | Policy violations page and Etsy Support | The decision and the appeal are both at Etsy |
| Changing shop language | Etsy Support | Only Support can do it on an open shop |
| Design, mockups and product choice | Seller groups and Turkish lessons | These are experience questions |
| Tax, company and invoicing | A qualified accountant | It needs a professional |
| Alomations account and tools | Alomations support (in Turkish) | The team that builds a tool knows it best |
Writing to Etsy Support
Start from Etsy's Help Center, signed in to your account, to find the ways to contact Etsy Support. Since the Help Center has no Turkish edition, we suggest writing in plain English. A few habits make answers come faster:
Use short sentences and keep one topic per message.
Include your shop name, the order number if there is one, and the listing link.
Attach screenshots of any error message.
If you used a translation tool, read the text once more before sending.
Keep a copy of the conversation.
If writing in English is the hard part, the methods in writing Etsy listings when English is not your first language work for support messages too.
