Bulk Automate turns every design you select into its own Etsy listing, each with its own mockups, title, 13 tags and description, built from one template you choose. You decide once how the batch publishes: live in your shop, as Etsy drafts you look at first, or dripped into the shop a few listings a day.
It is made for sellers who have more finished designs than listings: a folder of uploads from a design session, a set of seasonal artwork, or a back catalogue that never reached Etsy. If listing designs one at a time is what holds your shop back, this is the Etsy listing tool inside Alomations that removes that step.
What Bulk Automate does with each design
Each design in the batch goes through the same listing run as a single listing would. The run prepares the print-ready files, renders the mockups you picked, writes a buyer-intent title within Etsy's 140 characters, all 13 tags and a description, applies the template's product, price, sizes, colours, materials and profiles, and publishes the result to your Etsy shop. The difference is scale: you set it up once, and every selected design gets its own complete run. A single run starts at 90 seconds for a listing with one mockup, and the time varies with the work involved.
One design makes one listing. Each listing gets a title and tags written for that design rather than a generic set shared across the batch. That matters on Etsy, where "Search results are ordered by how relevant the items are to what you search for" (Etsy search), and a listing that is clearly about one thing is easier to match to a buyer's search. Our article on how Alomations writes titles, 13 tags and descriptions explains the copy side.
Before you start: designs, template and mockups
Three things need to be in place before you start a batch.
Designs in the Design Library. Bulk design upload puts a whole folder of artwork into the library in one go. Folders, search and the source filters (AI generated, uploaded, from automation) help you select exactly the set you want.
A template. The template holds the product and category, price, sizes and colours, materials, SKUs, and the shipping, return and processing profiles. You build it once and every listing in the batch uses it. Our guide to building your first listing template walks through each field.
Mockups. Pick them from the built-in mockup library, or from your own mockup library on paid plans. Smart mockups render each design onto product photos with fabric folds, shading and light, and you can preview every colour and every side before the run.
Set your SEO preferences first as well. Title length and tag style are chosen once and then apply to every listing the batch writes, so a batch of forty listings follows the same rules as your first one.
Live, draft or a few a day
The publish setting decides how the batch reaches your shop, so choose it with the batch in front of you.
| Publish mode | What happens | Choose it when | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live | Each listing goes live in your shop when its run finishes | The template and mockups are proven on earlier listings | Read the first few finished listings straight away |
| Draft | Each listing is saved as an Etsy draft so you can look first | It is a new template, product or style | Drafts stay hidden from buyers until you publish them |
| A few a day | Listings go live gradually, a few each day | A large batch you want spread over days | The queue shows what is still to come |
Live is the natural choice once a template has produced listings you are happy with. Drafts suit the first batch on a new product: check the title, tags, mockup crop and price on a few drafts, then publish them. Dripping suits big batches. It is a pacing choice rather than a ranking trick, because Etsy has not said that spreading listings out helps search, but it keeps new listings arriving steadily and lets you catch a template mistake before the whole batch is live. Live, draft or drip compares the three in more depth.
What each listing in the batch gets right
In a batch you will not read every listing as closely as a single one, so the accuracy rules built into every run carry more weight:
Titles say Custom or Personalized when the design is personalized.
Personalized designs are detected, so sample names stay out of the copy.
Fabric claims in the copy match the template's materials.
A long-sleeve shirt is never called a "tee".
Etsy listing attributes are filled from the product.
The last point is not cosmetic. Etsy says attributes "can also help buyers find your items more easily in search results" and advises sellers to "Fill out both attributes and tags for your listings" (Etsy attributes). Tags are limited to 13 per listing and 20 characters each (Etsy tags), and the run uses all 13.
What a batch costs
In Alomations, a full listing costs about 4 credits from an uploaded or reused design and about 10 credits from an AI-generated design. A batch of 20 uploaded designs therefore costs about 80 credits. Credits roll over up to 3x the monthly amount, no plan caps the number of listings, and credit top-up packs never expire and are usable while you are subscribed. The Free plan gives 40 credits a month once your Etsy shop is connected, about 4 to 6 full listings. How Alomations credits work has the full breakdown, and plan details are on the pricing page.
On the Etsy side, every listing you publish costs Etsy's $0.20 listing fee, which "Has to be paid regardless of resulting sales" (Etsy fees). Twenty live listings add $4.00 in Etsy listing fees. Also allow for timing: Etsy says that once published, "it may take up to 48 hours for your listing to appear in Etsy search results and categories" (Etsy listing guide).
Following the batch after it starts
While the batch runs, the live queue shows what is in progress and what is still waiting, and run history (paid plans) keeps a record of past runs. Once the listings are in your shop, the listings manager shows them alongside everything else, with a score for each live listing: ten checks, each with the fix attached.
If a batch went out with a mistake in the template, such as a wrong price, you do not have to open forty listings. Bulk edits cover prices (by a percentage or to an exact amount), tags and variations across the listings you select, and Update SEO rewrites the title, tags and description of a live listing, with the first rewrite per listing free.
Frequently asked questions
Does every design become a separate listing?
Yes. Bulk Automate makes one listing per selected design. If you want a set of designs in a single listing, such as one design per tee in a matching set, Aloma's group listings can combine them into one listing.
Can I review the listings before they go live?
Yes. Choose drafts for the batch and each listing is saved as an Etsy draft for you to check and publish. Choose live when you already trust the template.
How much does a batch cost?
About 4 credits per listing from uploaded or reused designs and about 10 per listing from AI-generated designs, plus Etsy's $0.20 listing fee for each listing you publish (Etsy fees).
Does publishing a few a day help listings rank?
Etsy has not said that it does. Use it to pace a large batch and to catch problems early, not as a search tactic.
