A US shop pays a $0.20 listing fee, 6.5% of the item price plus shipping, and 3% + $0.25 for payment processing. On a $25 sale with free shipping that is $2.83, so you keep $22.17 before your own costs.
Does Etsy charge fees on shipping?
Yes. The 6.5% transaction fee, payment processing and, in Türkiye, the regulatory operating fee all apply to the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays.
What are Etsy's fees in Türkiye?
A Türkiye shop pays the $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee, 6.5% + 14 TRY payment processing, a 1.67% regulatory operating fee, and VAT on those fees. Listing in USD with a TRY bank account adds a 2.5% currency conversion fee.
What is the Offsite Ads fee?
When a buyer clicks an Etsy ad on another site and orders from your shop within 30 days, Etsy charges 15% of the order, or 12% once your shop has passed $10,000 in sales over a year. It never exceeds $100 an order, and shops under $10,000 can opt out.
